Senate amendment would help local governments make their streets safer
A critical amendment before the Senate right now would give local governments more control over a share of state transportation dollars, giving them a greater voice and access to the money they can use to revitalize their main streets, improve public health, and make streets safer for everyone who needs to use them.
Tell your Senators to sponsor and support the Cardin-Cochran amendment to the transportation bill that would give local governments a large say over a small share of their state’s transportation dollars.
