Help make our streets safer for all

The House of Representatives is attacking a bipartisan, popular plan to give communities more control over their money to make walking and biking safer, asserting more or less that “local control” need not go any lower than the state level.

The House is reportedly aiming to eliminate the Senate’s bipartisan plan to give your local community access to money to make its streets safer for walking and biking.

Tell your Senators and Representative to preserve the popular Cardin-Cochran provision to give local governments a large say over a small share of their state’s transportation dollars.
